Fabulous tour of Sri Lanka
My friend and I loved our 12 day tour of Sri Lanka. Our guide Sanjayka was dynamic, energetic and passionate about showing us everything about his country. The itinerary was packed with amazing options and we chose to do a lot of hiking and sightseeing, and were able to add or remove things to the itinerary as we went. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable and we were constantly amazed by the gorgeous views. Our experience surpassed our expectations, and we would definitely recommend this tour company. It was so nice to have everything taken care of for us! Just make sure you’re clear on what’s included as we didn’t realize that the itinerary wasn’t a list of everything included, we still had to pay for everything on the list, but it was worth it as we didn’t have time to plan the trip ourselves. I recommend adding the Minneriya safari option as we absolutely loved both that one as well as the Yala safari. Fantastic family tour of Sri Lanka. Just book it!
We had the most fantastic tour of Sri Lanka. Asy Tours arranged everything. We were kindly met at the airport by Ranni and had a wonderful two weeks on a private tour with him. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was kind, helpful, had a great sense of humour and made our trip so special . Our two children 16 and 14 loved the whole trip which was quite an accomplishment in this day and age…keeping them off their phones. !! He was a wealth of information. We went to some beautiful places , saw amazing temples , had cultural experiences from driving the bullock train and getting a Sri Lankan cooking class to spotting elephants and leopards in Yala. The hotels we stayed in (we went for the four-star package ) were all excellent. We stayed in some amazing places. The Sigiriya hotel was beautiful and the staff are wonderful, we got upgraded in Kandy to the presidential suite and I’ve never been in such an enormous hotel suite in all my life. The Palmstone retreat ( Kithilgula) was truly beautiful. The rooms are set on the river overlooking the rapids and the staff were so so wonderful to us and kind. The food was beautiful. We all enjoyed the white water rafting adventure. We took the train to Ella. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Ranni, arranging the tours, checking that we were all enjoying ourselves , all at the same time relaxed and great company . Asy tours were amazing, they arranged all the hotels the entrance to the Parks we were interested in and all the breakfasts and dinners. Food was fantastic. This is the way to tour Sri Lanka!
A fabulous 16 days in Sri Lanka 🤩 It’s a beautiful country with diverse landscapes and activities, hospitable and friendly people. We worked with ASY tours before we went to tailor a private tour for us which included the places/activities we wanted to see. ASY organised our hotels and driver/guide and, whilst we had a list of activities in our itinerary, there was flexibility to change these along the way. Highly recommended this approach to touring Sri Lanka. From the moment he picked us up from the airport, our guide/driver, Saliya (Max), looked after us as if we were family and nothing was ever too much trouble. His years of experience and knowledge gave us a greater insight into the country and was especially helpful when having to find odd requests! Must admit, was difficult to say goodbye at the final airport drop off 🥲 Our hotels were organised by ASY and were fabulous - all 9 of them! Tours and guides chosen for each activity were of high quality - we’re sure others on the elephant safari were envious of the skills our driver displayed 😀 Communication with Asky from ASY was excellent and he checked in during our tour. Any (minor) issues we raised were quickly addressed and it was great knowing that we had both Saliya and Asky on our team. A great tour with Deva
A great tour by ASY tours and a fantastic guide Deva. He made sure I saw what I wanted to see near Nuwarya Eliya such as the little England part of town, different view points over tree plantations and single tree hill, pedro tea factory tour and lovers leap waterfall (my highlight, incredible!) I felt safe as a solo traveller and Deva made sure to ask if I was happy and if there was anything else I wanted to see. Would recommend! Advice would be to ensure to contact them in the coming days before to check they have your booking. I think because I booked through booking.com there was some initial confusion although this was rectified quickly! Advice would be to book direct with them. Worth every penny!
We made a last minute request to visit Sri Lanka through ASY Tours for a 12 days itinerary. ASY Tours accepted it without any hesitation and planned it exactly the way we wanted it to be. They responded promptly for each requests we made. They also came to the airport to greet us. They made us very comfortable and provided an excellent, safe car with a driver named Mr Ashoka - a humble, kind-hearted and always smiling individual who made sure we had the best time. He also had a very good sense of humour which made our tour even more enjoyable. From the very beginning to the end, ASY Tours were very dedicated and did their best. We were very satisfied with all the arrangements they made, from hotel to the food - we enjoyed it all! The team were very friendly and trustworthy. Highly recommend
My wife and I planned our tour to Sri Lanka with ASY Tours. We had an absolutely wonderful time exploring a number of cities, cultural sites and natural preserves around the country.
